Parsimony    Maximum likelihood    Bayesian inference    Species tree    home

Department of Botany, Charles University, Prague (2024)

Computer practicals consist from four parts. In 2024 the practical part of the course is taught on Tuesdays in B11 (botanical practical room, Benátská 2, ground level) on the following days:

Tuesday, 19.3., 8:10-10:30 - parsimony analysis

Tuesday, TBA, 8:10-10:30 - parsimony analysis - discussion, and Bayesian inference
Tuesday, TBA, 8:10-10:30 - species tree
Tuesday, TBA, 9:40-10:30 - maximum likelihood

You are advised to bring your own laptop computer with preinstalled software (see instructions on every topic-specific page).

To pass the practical course you need to submit answers to questions in each part. Use the Google Forms, links are available on individual pages.
