| Dear friends and colleagues, We hope you enjoyed the third lichen photobiont symposium, held in a cottage situated in a beautiful part of the Giant Mountains National Park, Czech Republic. After two productive worskhops held in Trieste and Valencia, primarily focusing on the symbiotic genus Trebouxia, the third symposium broadened its scope to cover all symbiotic genera. In addition to talks and posters presented various aspects of photobiont investigations, we organized a workshop focusing on determining aerophytical green algae, and a field excursion to observe lichens of the Giant Mountains National Park. The next meeting is scheduled to be held on Autumn 2023 in Poland and will be organized by University of Gdańsk. --- PHOTO GALLERY --- |
