Welcome to the home page of the Phycology Research Group in Prague, Czech Republic.

Phycology deals with diversity, ecology, and physiology of cyanobacteria and algae. At the Faculty of Science of Charles University, phycology is taught as part of biological study programmes. Phycology is applied in the field of water management (drinking water treatment, wastewater treatment), environmental bioindication, etc.
