Lužnice
Traditional annual weekend meeting of the Plant Ecology unit takes place in Lužnice village in South Bohemia at the end of autumn (winter) semester.
Program: discussions about lectures and curriculum, flash presentations, a talk by a guest speaker on a topic not closely related to plant ecology (from quantum physics to modern art), field trip, barbecue
Winter "Slunovrat" (=soltice) party
Party of the Plant Ecology unit. Party is organisated by students in the last week before Christmas.
Vegetation of Central Europe excursion
Goals of excursion is to demonstrate species diversity, vegetation types and ecological phenomena in field.

Fyt-pop-course
Course of filed methods in plant ecology, plant population biology and vegetation science. Course is compulsory for students at the Plant Ecology unit.
